In advanced beginners, we continued learning about bidding after a forcing 1NT. In beginners we discussed Stayman and transfers after a NT open. Next week there will be no Advanced class and Suzanne will review responding to an open at the one level.

We had 6 full tables in our pupil game. The Cullys were surprised to win with 66.67% (I don't know why they were surprised, they win a lot,) Gerri and Kathy were in second place with 55.56% and John B and Joan N came in third with 55% (Well done!) I will be in Memphis next week at the National tournament. Suzanne will run the Pupil game and the review lesson mentioned above. Remember NO ADVANCED LESSON NEXT WEEK. See you in two weeks! --Carl
