Advanced Beginners Lessons are no longer being offered on Tuesdays, due to a decline of interest.
We have changed Beginners Lessons to 2/1 at 11:00 AM, due to a request by the students. The lessons are best suited for those who played years ago but had to let the game lapse when life got in the way. Now they have more time and would like to update their game to twentieth century standards. Others have played rubber bridge and want to upgrade their game to duplicate. We also accept real beginners, but if they have not played at all we offer a short preschool course to help them best profit from the regular lessons.
We have several lessons on bidding, with everything from hand evaluation to Slam bidding. We follow the bidding lessons with lessons on play of the hand and defense. The full set of lessons takes 8 to 10 months depending on how well we progress.
